2016 Founded

From a Backyard Grill to Lansing's Favorite Wings

Wing Snob started in 2016 when founder Marcus Webb grew tired of mediocre wings — sauces that were too thin, coatings that didn't crunch, and flavors that faded fast. What began as weekend cook-offs for friends quickly became a neighborhood obsession.

"I wasn't trying to open a restaurant. I was just trying to make the perfect wing. Turns out, once you nail it, everyone wants in."

By 2018, Marcus had turned his passion into a brick-and-mortar location at 5210 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI. The wingsnob philosophy was simple: use only fresh, never-frozen chicken, craft every sauce in-house, and never compromise on the cook.

Today, Wing Snob serves thousands of wing lovers weekly, offering over 20 signature sauce flavors, from classic Buffalo and Honey Garlic to our award-winning Mango Habanero and Lemon Pepper Bliss.

The Spark Ignites

Marcus Webb perfects his signature double-fried technique and first proprietary sauce blend during weekend cook-offs in Lansing. Friends and neighbors start calling it "the best wing they've ever had."

2017

Pop-Up to Pop Sensation

Wing Snob launches as a weekend pop-up at local Lansing markets. Lines form within the first month. The wingsnob name starts spreading by word of mouth across Michigan.

2018

Opening Day at Cedar St

Wing Snob opens its flagship restaurant at 5210 S Cedar St, Lansing, MI 48911. The opening day line stretched around the block. Ten sauces on the menu, all made in-house.

2020

Award & Online Expansion

Named "Best Chicken Wings in Lansing" by Michigan Food Weekly. Wing Snob launches online ordering and delivery, expanding its reach across the greater Lansing area during a challenging year for restaurants.

2022

Sauce Line & Catering Launch

Wing Snob releases its first bottled sauce collection in select Michigan grocery stores. The catering division launches, bringing snob-level wings to corporate events, weddings, and stadium tailgates.

2024

Franchise Program Opens

Wing Snob officially launches its franchise program, allowing passionate wing lovers across the United States to bring the wingsnob experience to their communities. The future is flavorful.
